This repository of information has been established for GPA Members and Observers focussing on the response to the global impact of COVID-19 by our international data protection and privacy membership community. The aim is to collate and share knowledge: guidance, tools and resources, case studies and technical expertise, offering practical support to our community.
The GPA membership is best able to act collectively as a global community in shaping and influencing the global debate both at present and when the world moves out of crisis mode. However, our members are also individually playing pivotal roles in advising their governments and other domestic leaders on what privacy and data protection safeguards need to be put in place to navigate the new ‘normal’.
This section of the website will present the highlights of any collective activity that we have undertaken as the GPA, whether through events, statements, or other initiatives, including the new GPA Taskforce on COVID-19. Members’ individual efforts can be explored through the repository and a set of case-studies.
